Sandwich Broadwalk - Mike walking in the background (note the friends forever in the bottom :)

Pictures of the steps inside the Race Point Lighthouse

Rats...the wind woke me up at 4am. Dam ... there goes the rain. Safe to say ... no kayaking. Talked to Dick Hilmer (explore cape cod). Never meet him ... but he seems like a real cool guy. So hopefully next time we can get on the water with him.

Ate breakfast --- yummy cinnamon and vanilla french toast for me and chicken sausage with peppers and cheese omelet for Mike. We decided to find the broadwalk in Sandwich and go to P-Town. The broadwalk was really nice and peaceful. Due to the dreary day and it being mid-season ... there was no one there. I did not have to compete with anyone to get some nice pics. We decided to do a light house tour of Race Point. Wow...once in a life time. They only have open house once a year. I got some great pictures. Just wish I had my zoom on me to get pics of the darn whales that were playing off the shore!
P-town was cool. Stopped in this store and got a gorgeous silver shell and Mike treated me to pewter dragonfly magnets. The owner told us of some great detours on our trip up to Maine.
Oh, did I mention that a guy told Mike that he was cute ;)
We ate at JP Finely. A really great scallop spinach salad with a warm bacon vinaigrette. Mike and I split a bouillabaisse. Yummy!
So ... I am sore from all the biking and walking ... so back for another soak (this includes soaking up some more fireplace!)

Awww poo, no whales :-(
